VALENTINE’S DAY celebrated on february 14 is widely regarded as the day of EXPRESSING LOVE.
Valentine’s
day occurs every feb 14, across the united states & in other places around
the world, candt, flowers & gifts are exchanged between loved ones all in
the name of st.valentine.
During the middle ages it was commonly believed in France & England that february 14 valentines day should be a day for ROMANCE.
At the end of 5th century POPE GELASIUS
declared FEBRUARY 14 VALENTINES DAY a date which some belive commemorates the
anniversary of st.valentines death.

Saint valentine was a 3rd century roman saint
STORY
OF ST.VALENTINE:
Saint Valentine was a bishop who lived in
third century in ROME. During his time Roman Empire was crumbling down from the
attacks of surrounding tribes. Emperor Claudius 2, who ruled during the chaos,
believed that marriage made soldiers weak, he issued an verdict that forbade
marriage to ensure the quality of his soldiers.
The ban on marriage was a great shock. The
kind bishop notice the injustice of the decree. He held the law of church &
helped lovers who came to him uniting them in a holy matrimony.
But it was only a matter of time before the
emperor heard about this friend of lovers & had him arrested.
Valentine was prisoned while waiting for his sentence his jailer asteroids’ approached him to use sainty power & heal his blind daughter, valentine was succeeded & her sight was restored, they became close & fell in love.
After a while the emperor issued a verdict. Valentine was asked to agree with emperor about the ban on marriage thus giving up his religion valentine refused just before his execution.
Valentine asked for a pen & a paper
& signed a farewell message to his lover from your valentine.
Valentine is belived to have been excuted
on february 14th , 270 AD.
