    In 2000 ‘Madama Tussaud sculpted bachchan’s  wax statue at her Museum making him the first Asian to have the honour.

     In 2005 the French City. Deauville presented the Indian Celebrity an Honary citizenship

   The UNICEF choose him as the ambassador in their crusade for ‘polio eradication in India in 2002.

   Recently in 2015 he established the “HRB memorial trust” named after his father.
