COUGH REMEDIES
GINGER:
GINGER is a
popular traditional remedy . It’s often used treat nausea and stomach upset,
but it may also soothe coughing. Ginger may ease a dry cough or
asthmatic cough, as it has anti-inflammatory properties. It may also relieve
nausea and pain. Brew up a soothing ginger tea by adding 20-40 grams of fresh
ginger slices to a cup of hot water. The hot liquid can reduce irritation,
dryness and mucus in your throat.
HONEY TEA:
Honey provides the most significant
relief from coughing. Honey is a natural cough suppressant. Honey soothes the
sore throat.
To use honey to treat a cough, mix
2 teaspoons with warm water or an herbal tea. Drink this mixture once or twice
a day.
MILK AND TURMERIC:
Turmeric mixed in warm milk is an effective way to fight against cold and cough. Drinking a glass of warm turmeric milk before sleeping helps in faster recovery from cold and cough.

STEAM:
A good dose of steam can loosen the phlegm and help with both a dry cough & a productive cough. Boil some water and put it in a bowl. As you breathe in the steam, drape a towel over your head in the bowl to improve its potency.

cough is to drink plenty of fluids. Drinking fluids can help to relieve dryness
in your throat, a common cause of coughing. It also helps to thin out mucus,
which can ease coughing and congestion.

Peppermint leaves are well known for their haling properties. Menthol in peppermint can help soothe the throat and may make breathing seem easier.
You can benefit by drinking
peppermint by drinking peppermint tea or in hailing peppermint vapors from a
steam treatment.
To make a steam treatment ,
add 7 or 8 drops of peppermint essential oil to about a cup of water that’s
just boiled. Drape a towel over your head and take deep breaths directly above
the water.

Turmeric
has been used traditionally for many alignments over the years, including
coughing. Its active compound CURCUMIN,
has potent anti- inflammatory properties.
