Principles of Organization
         
           Principle of organization refers to those well-established and accepted general statements which are to be used in the process of organizing to prepare a sound organization structure. These principles serve as general guidelines for managers for envolving sound and more effective Pattern of relationship in designing the organization. Most of these principles have been developed by early management Writers. With them passage of time, these principles have been refined and extended by many modern management scientists. some of these principles are given below.
1. Principle of the vision of Labour:
     This is the basic principle of organizing. This principle represents division of work and activities into small tasks and job necessary For achieving a set of objectives. The principle of division of labour encourages job specialization, increasing effictiency of the employees and facilities smooth flow of work.

Principle of function and definition:
   According to this principle, the functions to be performed by an individual employee or by a department must be must be well-defined.
3. Principal of scalar chain:
    This principle is also known as 'line of authority 'It states that there exists an unbroken line of authority or Scalar chain from top to the lowest level. The scalar chain is  established account of assignment of work and delegation of authority from top to lower level. The principle of scalar chain suggests that clearly defined and uninterrupted chain of authorities should be established from top to all level of management down the line.

      This principle refers to  the number of subordinate  placed under the command of the manager who worked he can manage effeciency' It recognized that there is a limit in each management position of the number of sub ordinaries an individual manager can manage at a time.
5. Principle of unity of command:
   The Principal of unity of command implies oneness of command and single source of authority over a subordinate. According to this principle at the time of designing the structure of an organization, the rule the rule of once sub-ordinate and one superior should be followed .
6. Principle of objective:
     This principle suggests that the objective of organization should be spelt out in the clearest possible terms and all employees of organization should be made familiar with this objectives.
7. principle of balance:
     According to this principle, all techniques and principles applied to a particular structure of organization must be properly balanced The light of overall effectiveness.
8. Principle flexibility:
    The principle of flexibility states that adequate provision of flexibility should be made in respect of organizational structure. It suggests that the structure of an organization should be designed to permit growth And diversification.
9. Principle absoluteness of responsibility:
     According to this principle responsibility once assumed by the manger  cannot be shifted to subordinate.
10. Principle continuity:
   This principle states that while designing the structure of organization due care should be taken to maintain continuity in respect of its extensions and functioning.
11. Principal of efficiency:
   According to this principle, organizational structure should be designed in such a way as to facilitate effecient  accomplishment of objective. It facilitate states that the structure should permit optimum utilization of resources.
