Teachers day

          Teachers day is very special occassion for everyone. Especially for teachers and students. It was celebrated by students every year on 5th september to pay respect for thier teachers. The  5th september has been declared as “Teachers day” in India.



       It was celebrate on the auspicious occassion of Dr.SARVEPALLI  RADHA KRISHNAN birthday who was the great teacher and president of india. On this day specially students present their sincere wishes & prayers for their teachers & organise singing competition ,dance competition, drama & mimicry of their loving teachers to feel them proud . In some schools students dress up as teacher and take the role of teachers by conducting classes.

    Students present cards, flowers and special gifts  to their favourite teachers to show their love, affecion & respect to teachers they prepare little speeches in honor of their teachers.

   We should realized the  importance and need of our teachers in our lives and we should celebrate teachers day every year to honour the contribution of teacher in our lives

   Teachers day is a best way for students to express love & respect for their teachers they make our future bright and helpsus to become good human brings.

Biography of Dr.Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan
  One of the greatest indian philosopher of all time is Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan. He was an Indian philosopher, professor and politician. He deeply believed that teacher's should be the best mind in the country. And so every year since 1962 in honour of Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishna's birthday celebrated as teachers day .
Birth:
Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan was born on 5th September 1888 in a telugus. Speaking niyogi brahmin family in tiruttani in madras residency.
  His fathers name was Sarvepalli Veera Swami and his mothers name was Sarvepalli Sita. His early years were spent in tiruttani and tirupati
Education:
Radha krishnan was awarded scholarship through out his academic.
Primary education:
His primary education was in k. V. High school at tiruttani.
Then he studied tiruttani hermans burg evangelical lutteran mission school and government high school.
He joined voorhees college in vellore but switched to the madras Christian College at the age of 17.
He graduated from there in 1906 with a voorha master's degree in philosophy
Personal life:
Radha krishnan was married to Sivakamu a distant cousin at the age of 16 as per tradition the marriage was arranged by the family, the couple had five daughters and a son.
Politics:


Radha krishnan started his political career rather late in life after his successful academic career. His International authority proceeded his political career.
When India become Independent in 1947 Radha krishnan represented India at UNESCO (1946-52) and was later ambassador of India to the soviet Union from 1949 to 1952. He was also elected to the constituen assembly of India
He was a politican in shadow Radha krishnan was elected as the first vice-president of  india in 1952.
Elected as the second president of india (1962-1967)

Templeton prize
He was nominated 16 times for the noble prize in literature and 11 times fir the noble prize in peace. He was first male teacher in India
Literary works by Radha krishnan:
The philosophy of rabindranath Tagore is the first book of Radha krishnan in 1918.
In 1920 radha krishnan published his second book is the "region of religion" In contemporary Phisophy
His last book names religion, science and culture was published in 1968
Conclusion:
On April 17th 1975 Radha krishnan passed away due to heart failure
He spend his life nad career as a writer attempting to describe defend and propagate his faith which he reffered to variouny as hindustan, vedanta and the religion of the spirit
Rather than being known as Radha krishnan president he was famous for his academic skills an as a teacher
