        Now that we all set to welcome the month of april, gear up to play pranks on friends and family members. April 1^st is celebrated as April 1 is celebrated as april fool’s day world wide.

         This day is celebrated for several centuries by different cultures.

APRIL FOOL’S DAY STORY 

         There are so many different stories about how 1^st April came to be celebrated as april fool’s day . But the most widespread one is on the calender.

     Long, long time ago, in the year 1582, POPE GREGORY the Xlll introduced a new calender, the Gregorian calender. This calender started the new year on the 1^st of january.

     But back then, information took a time to spread as there was no phone or the internet back then. So far a long time many people did not know about the change in the calender.

     And those who knew about it refused to accept the new calendar. These people continued to celebrate the new year’s day on 1^st of april.

    The people who had accepted the new calendernow started making fun of these non-believers. They would lead them to believe in things that did not exsits or even send them on fool’s errands. Errands that did not exist!

     Eventually , the new calendar was accepted worldwide but the pranks stayed on. Friends, siblings, relatives, and even parents often play their tricks on their loved ones on 1^st April.

All the pranks are just for harmless fun and never hurt anyone, they usually end up with the pranksters shouting out “April fool” and people of laughter from everywhere.
