          Telangana’s Hyderabad City won the overall World Green City ever in 2022 and living green for economic recovery and inclusive growth award at the International Association of horticulture producers (AIPH) World Green City Award Day 2022 held Jeju south Korea Friday on October 14th

        Hyderabad is the only Indian city that was selected and it is a major of pride for Telegana and India that has won not only the category award but the overall World Green City in 2022 the best across all six categories according to an official release.

         Hyderabad beach cities like Paris, Mexico City, Montreal, Fortaleza and Bogota to be adjudged the Grand winner. Hyderabad became the only Indian city to wind laundries on the international platforms.

      Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said the state government efforts and its pro- environment policies are something the whole world should be proud of green City these international awards are proof that the state government is strongly implementing and urban development programs giving green fruits to the country. It is a matter of pride that Hyderabad is only city from India to be selected for these international events calling upon the public representative and efforts to continue the hard work towards formation of green Telangana.

Hyderabad wins global three city status:

       Hyderabad city has received another feather in its cap by being chosen as one among the ‘Tree city of the world’ by the Arbor Day foundation jointly with the Food and Agriculture organization of the United Nations organization.

     Hyderabad is the only city in the country to have been selected for this recognition in response to its commitment to growing and maintaining urban forestry, a statement from GHMC informed on Thursday.

     Hyderabad City is demonstrating leadership in management of its urban trees and its surviving as part of the solution to many of the global issues we face today these recognition and institutional efforts to plant, nature and celebrate trees, and development urban and pre-urban forestry actions, projects, and strategic planning and commitment to building a healthy city now and for the future.

     The city should have updated inventory or assessment of a localized resources to that an effective long-term plan for planting care and removal of the city trees can be established. Dedicated annual budget for the routine implementation of the tree management plant and annual celebrations of tree to raise awareness among residents and acknowledgment citizens and staff members who carry out the city c programme are the two criteria for recognition.
